Database by Design, LLC was founded in 2002 as a custom point of sale software company. As time went on the industry evolved and our company began to provide hosting and security services for our customers database processing needs.
Fast forward to present day and our hosting business is now at our core. When we began hosting our needs were complex but clear; provide a hosting environment for large scale, mission critical, secure, high availability databases and business critical applications. From our start we knew shared hosting wasn’t the way to go which is why today we do not provide shared web hosting services. Dedicated hosting was our solution and is not surprising, the core of the company today. With the advent of VPS technology we are now able to provide completely secure, customizable and robust solutions for a fraction of the cost of dedicated hosting. You won’t find Celeron processors, 40GB hard drives or single DIMM’s of memory in any of our servers, only the highest performing, proven and cost effective components go into our servers. This all comes full circle to our beings, the need for speed and reliability which is why we only implement Intel powered Dell PowerEdge servers. Better equipment means less downtime and faster response.
